The Cure in Florence on June 16
The Cure, the iconic British band led by Robert Smith, will be in Florence on June 16.
The Cure will be in Florence on June 16 for Firenze Rocks, the rock festival that welcomes fans every summer in June to see their favorite singers and rock bands, such as Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, and Ozzy Osbourne.
This will be the only 2019 event in Italy for The Cure, who will take the stage at the Visarno Arena where Robert Smith and his fellow musicians will play the greatest hits from their 13 existing albums. Fans awaiting the 14th album will have to be patient just a bit longer. Smith promises the new album will be released at the end of the year after more than a decade of waiting (the last album having been released in 2008).
The lineup includes hits such as Pictures of you, Boys don't cry, Close to me, Friday I'm in love, and other songs of the post-punk group that have become smash hits of the English new wave.
This is a unique opportunity to see The Cure live, after more than 10 years away from the tour scene, and to hear the unmistakable voice of Smith with a band that has been together longer than any other within alternative and mainstream music.
From the Convitto della Calza, you can reach the Visarno Arena in just a few minutes. Book now!
